Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.

Pinterest is a new social media platform, like Facebook and Twitter, that focuses on sharing fun, unique and inspirational photos.

Users can “pin” images that they stumble upon, which lets them save those photos on their “pinboards” and share them with their friends. Users can also “re-pin” or like other photos that have already been pinned by others by viewing other users pinboards.

Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.

Give it a shot! Even though it’s still in it’s infant stages, there are already thousands of images being shared.
